让我们勇敢站出来，讲述我们的故事，争取我们在美国社会中应有的尊重和重视。
 
作为第一代从中国移民到美国的群体，我们的人生经历跨度之大是空前绝后的。这种跨度超越了我们的父母，也超越了我们的子女，是一种跨越四维的大变革：
 
从一个贫穷的国家到一个富裕的社会，
从无神论到有神论的文化，
从东方传统到西方价值观，
从社会主义制度到资本主义国度。
 
我们的经历，因其巨大的跨度而独一无二。在这段跨越历史与文化的旅途中，我们学到了比许多世代更多的人生哲理，并为美国社会作出了重要贡献。因此，我们有责任，也有必要大声讲述我们的故事!
