My experience at Wang Vision has been incredible for so many reasons. I came to my appointment to get LASIK surgery very nervous but God gave me several signs along the way that Dr. Wang was the right doctor for me. I got a ride from Uber from work to my appointment and it turned out my driver knew exactly where to take me, because it turns out Dr. Wang is his doctor too! The driver knew I was nervous and he dropped me off with the commitment that he’d be praying for me! I spoke with my dad while in the waiting area, and he told me that I made the right decision to go to Dr. Wang. Knowing that my father, whom I admire more than almost anybody, admired Dr. Wang gave me a special sense of confidence despite my anxiety. My dad then told me that his bible study group prayed for me that morning and one man prayed for angels to be over my eyes during the surgery. How cool! Several members of my family texted messages that they’d be praying for me this day as well. Right before surgery, while laying down with hair strapped down, scary machines that shot lasers, holding tightly to the sweet nurse’s poor hand…Dr. Wang stopped to pray for my surgery as well! So cool!! To anyone considering eye surgery, I would demand that they choose Dr. Wang. The staff is unbelievably supportive, understanding, and knowledgeable. Regarding results, I officially have 20/20 vision today, and never will have to deal with glasses or contacts again. I’m looking forward to getting used to this as it hasn’t had time to sink in yet.

Dr. Wang has made my Keratoconus experience much easier to adapt to. To hear there is no cure for your eye disease is very scary. By the time I came to see him, I had already seen two other doctors in Nashville who could not help me. The very first visit at Wang Institute I immediately felt I was where I needed to be. I felt relaxed and hopeful. Today I had my second wonder bra follow up and things went great! With a bright smile on my face and hope for a brighter future, I can now say “I have Wang Vision!”

Before coming to Dr. Wang, I was close to blind without contacts or glasses. After one week, my vision is almost perfect. I am very blessed to have had the opportunity to receive the 3D LASIK surgery, and I hope more people are able to experience this.

I had a wonderful experience with my surgery. The result is amazing and I can see without glasses now. I have had glasses since I was 16 years old. I had to have glasses to be able to get my driver’s license. It will be so good to see the screens at church without wearing glasses. The team at Dr. Wang’s is wonderful. They always make you feel so special. The results tell the story!

I had seen Dr. Wang many times on TV and was very impressed, but was a little apprehensive in seeking his services. However, I made the visit and it changed my life! I can see! After removal of cataracts from just one eye, my vision was so clear I sat down and cried tears of joy! Thank you to the entire Wang team for making one little lady happy to see again! It’s sad to realize you can’t see anymore. This happened to me several months ago and I really didn’t know what to do! I saw Dr. Ming Wang on TV and thought-why not-what have I got to lose? Wow!!! That simple phone call has changed my life. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Wang and his awesome talent and caring soul. I can really see! Waking up the day after surgery and being able to see without glasses is amazing. I never thought the day would come. Dr. Ming Wang and his staff do a wonderful job at taking care of you. I have been wearing glasses for far sightedness since I was five years old. Fast forward forty plus years and my eye prescription is getting stronger and now my far vision is getting worse. I didn’t think I was a candidate for Laser eye correction because both my far and near vision were bad. Over the years I was told that you could fix one or the other. I have tried bifocal glasses but never got used to them, and settled for readers and just gave in to the fact that was far vision would always be bad. I then did some research and found out about a technique that Dr. Ming Wang performed called monovision correction where one eye was corrected for near vision and one eye for far vision. I was so thrilled of the idea that I could have both corrected. One day after my surgery and I can already read fine print—something that I have never been able to do—and my far away vision is also better. I have been informed that it will only improve with time. I could never imagine the possibility of not depending on my glasses for everyday life. Words cannot express how thankful I am to Dr. Wang and his wonderful staff for giving me my vision back. I feel truly blessed. The procedure was painless, the technicians are kind and professional and Dr. Wang is truly a magnificent physician and human being. I look forward to a bright and clear future free from the burden of glasses!
