In addition to being a world-class laser eye surgeon (described in the film “Sight”), who is a Harvard & MIT graduate (MD, magna cum laude), and is one of the few laser eye surgeons in the world today who holds a doctorate degree in laser physics and has performed over 55,000 procedures (including on over 4,000 doctors), Dr. Wang is also a doctor who is dedicated to helping find common ground in issues that face our nation. - Co-founded the 501c(3) non-profit “Common Ground Network”, to study the methodology as to HOW to help us find common ground in an unprecedented polarized and divided nation;
- Published the “Common Ground Bible Study”, to study Christ’s teaching as HOW to find common ground.
- Published the “Sight movie Bible Study”, in which he utilizes his film “Sight” (based on his autobiography “From Darkness to Sight”, co-starring Greg Kinnear) to show that we need to SEE beyond our polarization
As an immigrant who came to this country with only $50, Dr. Wang loves the freedom and civility in America, and believes that we need to appreciate more what we have in America, by turning around the current deadly polarizing trend of our nation, to UNITE our nation and embark on a new journey, to build up America, by finding common ground!
