Having been a unique patient (with hereditary congential cataracts) I have been a long time glasses wearer. I regained quality vision once I had my cataracts removed when I was younger, but I still needed glasses to see at an optimal level. I moved to Nashville 3 years ago and soon heard about Dr. Wang via the local news. After consulting with friends and family, I decided to explore the option of Lasik to achieve the best vision I can. My first appointment with Dr. Wang and staff was very helpful and my candidacy as a Lasik patient was evaluated. I was deemed a candidate even with my high level of astigmatism. Dr. Wang assured me I was in the right place for Lasik given my vision history and desirable outcomes. On the day of procedure, I was relieved and felt very comfortable. The entire staff did an excellent job preparing me for the procedure. Dr. Wang made me feel very comfortable and we shared a short prayer before the procedure. The procedure went very well and Dr. Wang was able to tailor the approach to remove as much astigmatism as possible. Less than 24 hours after the procedure, my vision was the same as it was while wearing glasses! I am very grateful for Dr. Wang and his skills and expertise in performing the Lasik procedure.
