I am a forensic electrical engineer. I investigate the origin and cause of fires and equipment malfunctions all over the US. This type of work includes a lot of research into how things are put together and how they fail. When choosing a surgeon for my recent cataract surgery I did my usual forensic type of research. First, I researched the available types of lenses. I studied monofocal and multifocal lenses. I chose multifocal to help eliminate the need for glasses altogether. Since multifocal lenses required a higher level of surgical expertise than standard monofocal lenses, I researched surgeons and looked for the most highly skilled. The research revealed Dr. Wang was the best. In addition, I researched the equipment and surgical techniques that would provide the best outcome. Dr. Wang uses a dozen or so test instruments and writes books on their operation. This far exceeded any other doctor in my research. Dr. Wang also uses a laser inside the eye, not just on the surface. This greatly increases the accuracy of the incisions and placement of the multifocal lens. All in all, I only had one choice and that was Dr. Ming Wang.

I was very nervous about having eye surgery. Needed cataract surgery and opted to have the laser with Toric lenses for my astigmatism and nearsightedness. Dr. Wang and staff were very reassuring that I had no need to worry. The surgery was very easy on my part and pain free. Today, the day after surgery I can already see distance and it will keep getting clearer. Can’t wait to get my other eye done, then I should only need reading glasses. Our church Calvary Baptist, had Dr. Ming Wang come talk to the congregation about his life in China and his experience in the USA. He explained what he studied and majored in. My wife had macular degeneration and lost sight in her right eye—she also has cataracts in both eyes. She decided to have the cataracts removed using the laser method. Everything went well and she is very pleased with the results.

I am a 65 year old male and have worn glasses most of my life. A few years ago I was diagnosed as beginning to develop cataracts. My brother in law recently had cataract surgery and highly recommended having the procedure. After much research I chose Dr. Wang. Excellent care! Congenial staff. Appreciate that there were no delays. From the time I came in until the time I left, everything was well-organized. I was relaxed the whole time. Dr. Wang is friendly, composed, and has excellent “bedside manner.” He didn’t mind talking to me, explaining things as he was going to do my eyes, and he prayed with me before the surgery. Each staff member knew his/her job, worked together as a team, and were willing to help each other and me as a patient with whatever I needed. Appreciated the very clean, nearly spotless facilities. It’s only been 2 hours since my surgery, and  my vision is already improved. Looking forward to the same great results on the other eye when Dr. Wang operates on it next week.

I have been truly blessed by going to Wang Vision Institute. Dr. Wang and staff are so caring, spiritual, and personable. I’d recommend Dr. Ming Wang to anyone.

I have been wearing glasses or contacts since the age of 13. I had recently gotten to the point that I could no longer read with my contacts, so I removed them. Then I would have to take off my glasses to read. I decided to have LASIK and knew that the only person in the world I would let touch my eyes was Dr. Wang. I came all the way from Switzerland to have this surgery. I had the procedure yesterday, and today I can see with 20/20 vision. I was shocked at my one day results. It only gets better from here.
